Tamil Nadu Board Class 12th Results: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu has declared the Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) (+2) result for the academic year 2022-23. The results are now available on the official website of the board, tnresults.nic.in. Students who appeared for the exam can check their scores and download their marksheet from the website.
Over 9 Lakh Students Appear for Class 12 Exam
A total of 9,09,795 students appeared for the Class 12 exam this year. The exams were conducted from 1st March to 19th April 2023. The exams were conducted amid strict COVID-19 protocols to ensure the safety of students and staff.
Girls Outshine Boys in Tamil Nadu Board Class 12th Exam
Girls have once again outshined boys in the Tamil Nadu Board Class 12th exam. The pass percentage for girls is 96.89%, while the pass percentage for boys is 94.81%. The overall pass percentage is 95.54%, which is slightly higher than last year’s pass percentage of 95.35%.
Tiruppur District Tops in Tamil Nadu Board Class 12th Exam
Tiruppur district has topped the Tamil Nadu Board Class 12th exam with a pass percentage of 99.58%. Perambalur district and Erode district have secured the second and third positions with a pass percentage of 99.57% and 99.55%, respectively.

- Click on the link for “HSE (+2) March 2023 Exam Results”
- Enter your registration number and date of birth
- Click on “Get Marks” to view your result
- Download and take a printout of the result for future reference.
Tamil Nadu Board Class 12th Toppers List 2023
The Tamil Nadu Board has also released the list of toppers for the Class 12 exam. The first three ranks have been secured by girls. The toppers list is as follows:
- Aishwarya R – 1195/1200 (99.58%) from Tiruppur district
- Nivedha V – 1194/1200 (99.50%) from Tiruchirappalli district
- Nithya S – 1193/1200 (99.42%) from Coimbatore district
