  • 1/2 cup moong dal (split green gram)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 inch ginger, chopped
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, chopped

  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
